We are quickly approaching another flu season.  I find myself holding my breath once again.  I pray that we have another mild season and that none of our children have to die from this vaccine preventable disease.  As many of you know, I am just a mom with no medical background.  Vaccinating your child is a very personal matter that you should discuss with your health care provider.  I believe it is the strongest defense in preventing the spread of the flu to our children and our community.  Also, remember that hand washing is another good defense against the flu.
