February 2006 We are now well into the 2005-2006 flu season. I seem to keep catching myself holding my breath that none of our children come down with the flu. I know that there are many other viruses out there that can wreck havoc on our children, but influenza will always put fear in our hearts. Sean and Ryan always get very concerned when they hear that someone has the flu. So do Glenn and I. Our pediatrician has seen us quite a bit of they Moise family lately. In my December newsletter I mentioned an organization called Families Fighting the Flu. We have gotten in touch with them and have joined in their mission. FFF promotes influenza vaccines. As I have said before, vaccinations are a very personal decision that you need to talk with your doctors about, but we agree that it is one way to help prevent the spread of Influenza.
